Junior Data Analyst^*

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for multi-national e-commerce site.
Produce reports upon request from sales, marketing, and finance teams.
Provide analysis and insights to support key business initiatives.

Job Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in role with related experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics or related field.
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills.
Knowledgable with (or able to learn quickly) databases, tables, and SQL.
Familiarity with web analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics) a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be extremely conscientious.
Ability to multi-task.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Senior MySQL DBA

The challenge: our MySQL installation spans hundreds of servers and manages billions of rows of information in order to meet the demands of a busy social networking application. That installation must be expanded now to handled the demands of an ecommerce site that spans multiple geographies.

Requirements:

At least five years' experience with MySQL including installation, upgrading, monitoring and disaster recovery
Replication, including master-master replication
Experience with Percona, XtraDB and maakit
Analyzing and optimizing sql queries
Linux
Perl and shell scripting
Work with dev team to architect databases
Work with SA team to define hardware requirements
Experience with caching techniques and nosql engines (memcached, Redis, MongoDB, etc.)

Senior Web-based Perl Developer

Multiply is looking for a strong developer to help us continue to stay ahead of the competition by offering the most feature-rich product. Our "wish list" is endless so we need people to design and develop these items, as well as come up with creative ideas on their own.

Preferred Experience:

4-5 years' experience developing object-oriented Perl applications.
History working with Linux, CVS, and other Open Source development tools.
Strong knowledge of Apache and mod_perl.
Working knowledge of JavaScript.
Interest in learning new technologies such as AJAX.
Solid MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle skills.
Ability to work both individually and in a group.
Dedication to learning and advancing your skills.
4-year Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.

LAMP Developer

Multiply is looking for strong LAMP developers to help us expand our cutting-edge social shopping platform. We have very aggressive plans for moving rapidly into this space and need talented, motivated developers to take ownership of large infrastucture and UI components.

While our core systems are written in Perl and we prefer Perl as the "P" in our LAMP stack, only a willingness to learn and adapt are required.

Mid-Level Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Multiply is seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to help develop a test automation framework for an e-commerce application. The candidate will develop 'data-driven' automated test scripts using open-source test tools for the purpose of functional and regression testing. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and testing new code to uncover any potential defects to functionality or issues that could cause system reliability issues. The candidate will be responsible for entering and tracking defects and working closely with the QA team lead, development and product team members to ensure that required functionality is met.

Required skills/experience:

4-6 years of QA experience testing web-based applications.
Solid technical background in LAMP environment. Knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Creating and executing test cases.
Defect tracking and management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work well with development, product and customer support teams.
Good knowledge of SQL.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience developing automated tests within a test automation framework.
Experience with open-source web testing tools (eg. Selenium, SoapUI, Watir, WebInject).
Perl and shell scripting.
Experience testing ecommerce or trading applications is a plus, but not required.
Experience with different development methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Spiral) is also a plus.

Mid-Level Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

Multiply is seeking a Mid-Level QA Analyst to focus on testing of an e-commerce application. The candidate should be able to review functional and technical specification documents and develop test cases to uncover potential defects within the code that could cause system reliability issues. The candidate should be able to communicate with development and product team members to understand product roadmap and prepare for upcoming releases. The candidate should be experienced in documenting and tracking defects using defect tracking tools. The candidate will work closely with the QA team lead, development and product team members to ensure that required functionality is met.
