Multiply Inc. to Sponsor 2006 Avon Walk
for Breast Cancer

Social Networking Site Creates a Place for Walkers, Crew and Volunteers to Share Experiences From the Event

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA, APRIL 24, 2006 -- Multiply Inc., developers of Multiply.com, a better place for people to communicate with their friends and family, is an associate sponsor of the 2006 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series, a project of the Avon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. This social networking website has created a unique online place for walkers, crew and volunteers of the annual events to view and print pictures taken during the event, as well as share and communicate with people involved at http://AvonWalk.Multiply.com.

Multiply enables individuals to communicate with their real world social network, unlike anywhere else on the Web. The Avon Foundation has created http://AvonWalk.Multiply.com through Multiply's groups feature, which allows organizations, or people with common interests, to maintain an online presence for sharing content among members.

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series includes eight weekend-long events produced by the Avon Foundation to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. In 2003-2005 the Avon Walk series raised more than $100 million and attracted 37,000 participants. The noncompetitive Avon Walks offer women and men of all fitness levels a choice of completing a marathon walk (26.2 miles) or a marathon and a half (39.3 miles) over a weekend.

The Multiply photographers will capture photos along each Avon Walk route. In addition, a "Team Photo" tent will be set up in every Avon Walk Wellness Village, the participants' "home-away-from-home" on Saturday night. After the Walk is complete, teams can view and order photos. Multiply will donate 20% of the purchase price of prints ordered from http://AvonWalk.Multiply.com to the Avon Foundation.

"The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is such a positive and rewarding event for the thousands involved that we felt Multiply.com would be a great additional place for people to connect before and after their walk through photos, blogs, and videos," said Peter Pezaris, Co-Founder and CEO of Multiply Inc. "These walks are community and relationship building events just as much as they are fundraisers. Since Multiply is about making it easy for people to share content and communicate, we see the Avon Walk site as a useful tool for participants to stay connected even after the Walk."
